Action: Encourage the conference participants to implement personally and professionally the principles and Calls to Action as identified by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Owiiji’iwe Linklater Associates Inc.

Owiiji’iwe Linklater Associates Inc. is a First Nation Incorporation specializing in providing methodologies that will improve and build better relationships when working with all Nations. Services provided by Owiiji’iwe Linklater Associates Inc. include training, counselling, education, workshops, and retreats. We will work with governments, businesses, organizations, agencies, and individuals wanting to understand the impact of the historical processes and work toward implementing “best practices” while providing services to First Nations and other Indigenous populations.

We are a family striving to live “the good life” known as “minobimatisiwin” on a daily basis while addressing the negative impacts of colonization, residential schools, government policies, addictions, loss of identity, and other challenges. We have begun our healing journey from these historical traumas. Some of our individual healing journeys have included education, addiction treatment, twelve step programs, professional counselling, and most importantly learning and incorporating our cultural way of life.

The Linklater family dream envisions utilizing our diverse and extensive education, skills, and life experience to assist ourselves and others to live “the good life” known as “minobimatisiwin”. Our chosen path to making the dream a reality was the formation of Owiiji’iwe Linklater Associates Inc.
